FAIR PRICE INDEX

Digital Assets are traded across numerous exchanges, markets & liquidity pools and across numerous different quoted currencies. The price of an asset can differ greatly between markets, even for the more common digital assets and it can be hard to quickly understand what a ‘fair’ price is for an asset based on all the available market data out there.

The Crypto Index Series Calculated Cross Rate aims to provide a ‘fair’ price across 32 key quoted currencies (fiat and crypto). It provides users with an accurate valuation of a digital asset that is based on reliable pricing sources as well as the latest fiat market rates.

UPDATE FREQUENCY

We recalculate our cross calculayted rates as often as possible. For the largest most liquid assets we generate a price roughly every 5 seconds across all 32 key quoted currencies. For less liquid coins we may only recalculate every 15 seconds or every 60 seconds. For illiquid assets we may only calculate every 60 minutes (or not at all if there is no reliable price source)
